Summer Internship Program
BVCC provides internships in Venture Capital, Business Development/Strategy, and the Tech ecosystem. During these internships, students have the chance to work on real projects and gain valuable skills and hands-on experience that will prepare them for future careers in the tech industry. The students that are selected to join our internship program will receive $14,000 for their 11-week summer internship.
Venture Capital Internships
In a VC internship, our interns are placed in investment-related roles. They perform the role of Junior Investment Associates and work closely with experienced professionals to evaluate potential investment opportunities and conduct market research. BVCC works with several Host VC Firms to employ HBCU Summer interns and investment fellows learn more here.
VC Internship Application Requirements
Applicants must be sophomores, juniors, or seniors
Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher - all majors are welcome

Tech Internships
Host Tech Company Internships are within two primary fields:
Students selected for tech internships are hired for roles within Business Strategy, Product Management, User Experience, Sales and Marketing.
Tech Internship Application Requirements
Applicants must have completed the Entrepreneurship, Product Management, or User Experience curriculum tracks
Applicants must be sophomores or juniors
Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher - all majors are welcome
