BVCC students participating in the 2nd year of the HBCU curriculum will collaborate to create solutions for early-stage startup companies.  Students will work with early stage tech startup companies and provide services in the areas of Venture Funding, Go-To-Market, Product Management, UX Design and Software Engineering.


Goals

  1. Allow business students to gain skills in research, problem-solving, analysis, and portfolio company support.

  2. Allow C.S., STEM, and Design students to build and develop their portfolio of projects and strengthen their technical skillsets by assisting companies in building UX designs as well as web and mobile development.

  3. Assist start-ups in evolving their business through an offering of market research, problem-solving, and technical services.


Who is qualified?

  1. Students interested in the program must be in their second year of the HBCU Curriculum.
